The week before Hungary

This week has been a bit of a rest week following the Truro training camp last week. I’m also getting lots of things ready for my training week in Hungary next week. That doesn’t mean I’ve been taking it easy though! I have had morning and evening training every day as well as conditioning work.

Everyone on the program got their performance targets this week as well. My performance target for this year is to achieve selection for the junior world championships in Baku, azerbajan. I have already been selected for this years junior European championships in denmark in October. My target is to finish in the top 16 there.

The training course next week is in Budapest, somewhere that I have been to many times before, I am looking forward to it even though I know it will be tiring!
Today and tomorrow i am on a coaching course, so I will be able to teach fencing in schools if I pass! Today we were taught the best techniques for coaching in schools and we are being assesed and hopefully I will pass with flying colours!
