It is with great pleasure that the Armitage RBL Women’s Section reports the total sponsorship and donations raised during our walk has reached £1,205.30!

Special thanks must go to Pete Lyons of Armitage RBL, and to Roy Walton and Jeanette Kelly of Rugeley RBL for opening the clubs early for us.  Also, to our local officers PC Alison Lewis and PCSO Lisa Anderson for not only completing the walk with us, but for the superb amount of support and sponsorship that they raised.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the residents and passers by for their overwhelming support and generosity shown to us throughout the day – especially the contractors that we pounced on at The Hollies and The Pippins developments and the patrons of The Vine, The Mossley Tavern, and The Ash Tree!!

 

The total raised will all go to the Women’s Section Benevolent Fund that finances the welfare programmes, providing support for the families of our service men and women when they are in need of it most.
