Women’s Section Day - Northern Region

The Annual Ex-Service parade and Service is to be held at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum, Malton, North Yorkshire on Sunday 12th September 2010 and the Women's Section has been invited to join the Service and have a publicity stall within the grounds of the museum. An added bonus is that, on the day, entrance to the museum will be free!

As this is usually a very big event in the area (2009 parade had 94 Association standards) and has a massive turnout of Ex-Service personnel and families as well as members of the public, it will be a good opportunity to publicise the work of the Women's Section.

The five counties of the Northern Region have been invited to attend and, so far, the response has been very good with plenty of volunteers to help on the stall, hand out publicity leaflets and talk to visitors about our work.
